Well not everything. I doubt anyone wants to know my favorite TV series is Farscape or that my favorite movie is The Princess Bride, let alone the additional 9 others on the list. This is my top 10 for 2024.

I cannot list only 10 names in the keto community. There are just too many. These are the doctors, medical professionals and influencers that have inspired me and others through their determination to share the ketogenic way of eating and its health benefits. They stand out for their dedication to sharing the transformative benefits of the ketogenic way of eating.

Joy's Top 10 for 2024: Up-and-Coming Keto Influencers & Gurus to Follow
  1. Dr. Jason Fung - A nephrologist challenging conventional nutrition perspectives, emphasizing intermittent fasting and low-carb living. His books on Intermittent Fasting are the number one recommended in my Meta Group.
  2. Dr. Ken Berry - Advocating for a low-carb, high-fat diet, Dr. Berry shares valuable information and practical tips for following a keto lifestyle. Dr Berry and his wife Neisha Salas-Berry educate in a way we can all understand. Members of his community get extra time with Dr. Berry and Neisha. His book Lies My Doctor Told Me is the Amazon #1 bestseller in preventetive medicine.
  3. Dr. Shawn Baker – A leading carnivore diet influencer and proponent. Dr Shawn Baker's controversial approach is the challenge we need. His book is The Carnivore Diet.
  4. Gary Taubes - Renowned for his work in nutrition science, Dr. Taubes adds to the understanding of ketogenic diets. Check out his brand new book Rethinking Diabetes.
  5. Dr. Eric Westman - A leading obesity medicine physician exploring the therapeutic potential of ketogenic diets. He co-authored a book with Amy Berger End Your Carb Confusion: A Simple Guide to Customize Your Carb Intake for Optimal Health, another top influencer.

    I love how easy it is to set up and use right out of the box. The scale will pair with your smart phone to track your progress. For those that are numbers driven, this is a must have.
